My STORY
“The wilderness is a spiritual necessity, an antidote to the high pressure of modern life, a means of regaining serenity and equilibrium.” ― Sigurd F. Olson
I began working as a high school social studies teacher, eventually becoming a principal. After 20 years in education, fueled by a love for the outdoors, I began a wilderness adventure company that I both guided and directed for over 30 years. The company grew to be a very successful and reputable operation.
I have been fortunate, in my role as a wilderness guide, to have led groups to significant natural treasures of British Columbia and the Yukon. I grew to believe that the best way for people to understand the importance of stewardship, preservation, and conservation is to experience our treasures firsthand.
I invite you to join one of our expeditions. Enjoy all that such an experience will offer to your senses and to your being.
Oh, the bear? Stanley wanted a photo with me to brighten up his den.
